Now that you know what HyperYM is let me give you my first plugin for this tool: HDD Thermometer . This plugin will enable you to poll the current Hard-Disks temperature and display it in all the instant messengers supported by HyperIM : Google Talk Miranda IM, Skype, Trillian, Windows Live Messenger, Xfire, Yahoo! Messenger.
In order to get the Hard drive temperature you hardware must support SMART Temperature control (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology ) . If you don’t know what the heck is S.M.A.R.T don’t worry just download the plugin, install it and see if it detects your hardware.
